I have nightmares about Boring Gray Suits (BGS)! Like the Smiths in Matrix, I see BGS everywhere during the day – at work, at Starbucks, and even at Happy Hours…and I know you see them too…

BGS, the uniform for the corporate-ladder-climbers, were a necessary evil – till I decided to do something about them!

So, I’ll have to admit. I was not one for “statement jewelry” either. I’m more of a “classics girl” that picks my outfit first and then the accessories to compliment it.  Minal, has always been the one to strut the bold accessories that make her look.

This year, I too wanted to try to change things up. As Alison Syrett writes in Lucky, ”Not that I don’t love the look–I just never think I can pull it off. When faced with a gorgeous jeweled bib at Barneys my thoughts are always the same: I’m not tall enough. It would overwhelm me.
